Marianne, a Sanibel Island Florida based artist, captures her surroundings in a number of creative ways. Her unique painted wooden bowls have been featured in island galleries and juried art shows for a number a years.  Popular as both souvenirs and gifts, a number of customers return annually to add to their collections. In the past year Marianne has added a new selection of island birds, and these have rapidly become favorites among both visitors and locals. With a great selection of subjects, she creates great wedding, birthday, anniversary and holiday presents and gifts for other special occasions, including bowl sets. (for example a large bowl and 6-8 small individual bowls, each with a different design.

In the past year, as well, Marianne has become expert at the process of white line wood block prints, which are now displayed in two island galleries. The block prints are available both framed and ready for your frames. Very easy to pack or ship, these prints are individually painted so each is a true original.
