Marianne uses hardwood bowls lathed from Beech and Maple blocks, painted with water-based acrylic paints and sealed with multiple layers of  water-based clear polyurethane with is safe for cold foods. The general sizes available are 8”, 10”, 12”, 15” and 17” outside diameter. Bowls are natural products, not identical and may not be the exact size, perfectly round or without knots or grain features. Each bowl is individually painted and signed and is original art.

Bowls should not be placed in a microwave or dishwasher, and should be gently cleaned with soap and water and dried immediately. With normal care, bowls in daily use hold vivid color for well over 25 years.

PRICES 

Prices depend upon the size of the bowl and the complexity of the art. An 8” bowl is $85 and a complex 17” bowl with the art wrapping around to the back of the bowl would range from $350 to $450.  Packing and shipping is available at a nominal cost.  For an exact quote call Marianne.
